So I read the open letter to Facebook about privacy issues that the ACLU, CDT, CDD, EPIC, PRC, and others sent earlier this week. And then I read Facebook’s response to that letter. Then I went to my Facebook page and looked at it. It’s pretty bland. It reveals little about me. I have one — count it — one picture posted. I log into my account maybe every few weeks.
And I’m comfortable keeping it that way. I hope I never have enough free time or sufficient zeal to be on Facebook all the time — there are too many good books to be read and too little time as it is.
More as it happens outside of social networks,
Cheryl
