The Lowestoft Chronicle

February 22nd, 2011

Got an e-mail from the editor of The Lowestoft Chronicle, “an online literary magazine, published quarterly, accepting flash fiction, short stories, poetry, creative non-fiction, and artwork. Preference is given to humorous submissions with an emphasis on travel. An anthology of the best work will be published annually as a perfect-bound book. Our mission is to form a global “think tank” of inquisitive, worldly scribblers, collectively striving towards excellence and, if possible, world domination.” [from their website]

So I took a look, and came across a “flash fiction” piece in the latest issue (volume 4), that I immediately wanted to share with the rest of the world. So… rest of the world — you’ve got to read: “Email to a Lazy Coworker,” by Xenia Hanna. Go ahead, read it right now. I’ll wait….

Fun, huh? Thought it might pep up your midweek. All things considered, it might just be a very good thing if the Lowestoft Chronicle were to achieve their goal of world domination. Best wishes to them!

And more as it happens,
Cheryl
